CricInfo title Michael Jordan’s ‘Dream’ was a dream article Crave Sport has exclusively revealed that the world’s greatest basketball player, Michael Jordan, is returning to the US for the first time in almost a decade.
In a bid to keep fans and the basketball world guessing, CraveSports’ exclusive story features Jordan returning to live action in a new documentary titled ‘Dream’.
“He’s coming back and I don’t think there’s been anything like it,” the former Chicago Bulls star said in an exclusive interview with CricSports.
Jordan, who was born in Australia but was raised in New York and New Jersey, will also return to the States to help promote the documentary.
“The first time I was able to visit in person, I felt like a kid again.
It was a very special feeling, a feeling that I’ve had before in Australia,” he said.
Jordan has been the subject of much speculation following the death of his mother during his retirement.
“It was one of the most important moments in my life, so it was definitely something that I wanted to do,” Jordan said.
“When I got back home, I knew that I needed to do something.
I’ve always wanted to come back and give back to Australia.
It’s something I’ve been very passionate about for the last five or six years, and I’ve wanted to be able to do that.”
The film follows the return of the NBA star to Los Angeles, and will be broadcast on the CBS network.
“Dream” was filmed over a period of two months, with Jordan taking a break from filming for a few weeks.
Jordan and his family have been able to make a few visits back to the United States, including a visit to the Disneyland Resort in California, which has been featured in several of the previous documentaries.
Jordan’s involvement in the film comes just weeks after his former coach Kobe Bryant’s death, and follows a similar trend of returning to Australia for film projects.
Jordan’s former teammates and former teammate Kobe Bryant were the last players to speak publicly about the passing of their former mentor, and it was during their visit to Australia in December that Bryant said he would be coming back for another film project.
“There’s been so many great stories over the years, from Kobe Bryant, the ‘Dream’, to the birth of my son, the birth to my daughter, the wedding, and all of that stuff, and there’s always been something about coming home and seeing the love that you feel from the fans,” Jordan told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
“I’m going to do the same thing, I’m going down there, I’ll just tell you, and see the love.
That’s something that’s always brought me joy and happiness, and that’s the best feeling, you know, when you’re home, you’re back home and you’re doing something.””
Dream”, which will be released on December 5, will be the second documentary to feature Jordan in the States.
Jordan previously starred in the feature film ‘A Man and a Basketball,’ which was directed by and starring the late Michael Bay.
