Disneyland has announced plans to open a resort in Northern Californian town of Ocotillo, a community about 90 minutes south of San Francisco, on March 1.
The resort, called Ocotilla, will be a “fantastic destination for our guests and families,” Disney said.
Ocotillas population was estimated to be between 1,000 and 2,000.
The community is known for its unique culture and has been dubbed “Ocotillo for Disneyland.”
The resort will have indoor pools and a dining area.
The new Ocotillos resort will feature “an expansive outdoor dining area,” according to the announcement.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Disneyland to Ocotulla, a magical place full of fun and adventure, and we’re proud to be a part of it,” Mayor Ken Thomas said.
Disneyland will include the Ocotille, a themed area that will feature themed restaurants and activities.
Guests can stay in the Ootilla Resort in the spring and summer and fall.
The Ocotills resort will open March 1, 2020.
